David Simmons - 1968 In the 62 yearbook senior pictures, he was one of those listed as "camera shy".  However, he does show up in ROTC photos.  David was killed in Viet Nam on March 16Th, 1968.  He was twenty three years old and was a Sergeant in the Marine Corps.  He was shot while rescuing a group of trapped marines.
